Architect II | Olson Kundig

I am a licensed architect whose growing list of work contains designs that shape the ephemeral human experience through physical architecture interventions. My background in theater performance and design lends itself to the collaborative creation of spaces that both aesthetically perform and efficiently function. I am intrigued by human interaction with the built world around us and how our experiences shift with cultural, economic, and emotional contexts.

I currently work as an Architect II at Olson Kundig in Seattle, WA.

I previously worked at Medici Architects in Bellevue, WA, implementing custom designs for local single and multi-family residences. Involved in early plan and exterior design phases, I work directly with clients, consultants and contractors to visualize final products through digital rendering and documentation. In addition to design, I prepare construction documents for building and site permit approvals.

I hold a bachelor's degree of Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, with minors in Psychology and Architectural Acoustics. In 2019, my team was awarded the Newman Student Award for our acoustical design of a media production company’s office retrofit.

During my college education, I interned with multiple architectural firms and with the National Parks Service. In these internship roles, I aided in digital drafting and gained experience for a range of projects. With Tonkin Architecture, I collaborated on low-income housing projects in early feasibility phases. At Architecture+, I was involved with mental health institute projects that focused on creating comfortable and safe spaces to promote recovery. My work with the NPS Heritage Documentation Program focused on preserving historic structures and technologies. I documented both a historic shrimping village outside of San Francisco and a portion of the city’s collection of small water craft through photogrammetry, point cloud models, and construction drawings.
